I was walking along the beach in Maui when i came accross this little one washing the sand off of her feet. The picture i took after this, she had a big smile on her face. I didnt submit it however because it wasnt as natural as this one.

Since this was a spontaneous picture and i am not that experienced as a photographer just yet, ididnt get her other foot in any of the shots. It would have really made the picture better i think. But non the less, she is a cutie. Somebody should tell her that she has more sand everywhere else than her feet :)

Taken in Maui, Hawaii with a Nikon D50.

marvelous portrait looks candid and almost posed too the child looks like she was enjoying the water and also enjoying the attention too ..great focus and composition . we loves it yes we does :+fav:

She is sooo cute! Love the spontaneous, it truly makes the shot! I think a more blurred BG would have been better, but that's a tiny crit. ~Linda
